Join Us for a free online panel discussion on climate change impacts and how permaculture can support vulnerable communities.
Panelists Rosemary Morrow, Warren Brush, Galawezh Bayiz, and Rina Mattinson will share their experiences working alongside communities on the frontline of climate change and discuss ways permaculture can be adapted for different cultures and quickly shifting climates.
The lines between those directly impacted by climate change and those who only hear of it in the news are growing thin. Simultaneously, communities without the resources to respond in advance or recover are increasing in frequency and volume as relief resources are thinning. How can permaculture provide localized and global mitigation, migration, and recovery options? What communities are currently vulnerable?
What does it look like to prepare for disaster, steward existing resources, build resilient ecological and social systems, and access necessary resources when climate disasters occur?
Following the panel discussion, we will have a Q&A.
